The Advanced-C Serum is a lightweight, oil-free serum containing 17.5% vitamin-C and hydrolized ascorbic acid to maximize the visible benefits to the skin as quickly as possible. Ingredients such as resveratrol, an exceptional free radical scavenger extracted from mulberries and grapes, is believed to protect collagen by inhibiting enzymes that degrade collagen and by supporting existing collagen structures within the skin. Grape seed extract and glycine will support the micro-vascular health of the skin and increase the skin's natural anti-oxidant defense system. Advanced-C Skin Hydration Complex is a crystal clear, non-oily gel containing an exceptionally high percentage of hyaluronic acid, the body's own natural moisturizer. Hyaluronic acid is most abundant in young skin and disappears by almost 50% by the age of 50. The skin consists of fibers made up of collagen and elastin, these connective tissues are filled with hyaluronic acid and protein complexes, when this is lost, skin becomes dehydrated and aged in appearance.
